The best place to begin attaching your &Sane Helmet
Spikes is at the top center of the helmet. Almost
every helmet has a hole at this location. By starting
at the front or the back of a helmet you may find
yourself needing to place a spike where that hole is.
To avoid this accident, you want to start on both
sides of the center hole and work your way down
towards the front and back. |

|
|
| |
 |
|
To create an even space between each spike use a
Post-it or masking tape. Tear the Post-it or tape to
the distance you want from one spike to another. This
piece will be used throughout the process of attaching
each spike. Remember to move your piece of Post-it
paper or tape before applying glue to your next spike. |

Once you have figured out the distance you can now
begin to create a helmet that looks worthy for battle.

Thoroughly clean surface before applying any spikes.
Hold the spike by the side and place 1-2 drops of
super glue* on the bottom (depends on spike size) .
When adding glue to the bottom leave a small dry area
around the edge about 1mm in size. |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
 |
|
The glue will
spread outward to the edge when you press the spike
firmly to the helmet. Hold the spike in place for
about a minute, or until it appears bonded to the
helmet. Allow 24 hours for the glue to create a
strong bond. |

2 bags are highly recommended to create a more unique
style that is all your own. |

*Super glues are available for many types of
applications. Be sure you have some that is suitable
for rubber and plastic. Regular super glue will work
better than “gel” super glue. |
